The Tiny Pantry is a guide to storing and organizing a kitchen that is short on space: rentals, studios, dorms, RVs, galley kitchens, and any kitchen where the counter is shorter than a bath towel.

What you will find here

Every guide is built around a constraint you actually have, not a fantasy kitchen:

  • Living situations — renter-safe, no-drill storage for apartments, dorms, RVs, tiny houses, and basement suites.
  • Kitchen zones — what to do with the space under the sink, above the fridge, inside cabinet doors, on the wall, and on the windowsill.
  • Item storage — where pots, lids, spices, knives, cutting boards, small appliances, and food containers should live.
  • Reviews & buying guides — the organizers, risers, carts, and containers that earn their footprint, with the measurements you need to check before you buy.
  • Systems & routines — a zone system, a weekly reset, and a declutter checklist so the kitchen stays organized after the first weekend.

How we work

We start from the constraint (a 30-inch counter, a P-trap in the way, a lease that forbids holes) and work backwards to what fits. Guides list the dimensions, weight limits, and wall types where each idea fails, because the most common waste in a small kitchen is an organizer that arrived and did not fit the cabinet.
